Hello Friends!

Are You Wondering if We'd Be a Good Fit?

My decision to specialize in the brain gut connection did not come by chance. I have directly witnessed the impact that gut health has on mental health and clarity. This helped me to love how food choices, regular movement, and finding a connection to your souls purpose, play a direct role in overall health.

As a single woman, I used to worry a lot about my future. I spent the better part of my late-30's immersed in moments of hopelessness - that often involved, putting immense pressure on myself to find a partner and to have children.

It was engrained in my mind, through North American society, that marriage + children = VALUE.

And so, flying single, and childless, through my 30's, in my mind, must = unworthiness.

Enter the beginning of my journey to find MY true identity -- Not the identity that society deemed for me -- but, you know, the *real* me.

As you can well imagine, that journey wasn't always a smooth one. (Is there an opposite of smooth? ;)

What I know is this: feelings of sadness, nervousness and worry can be very lonely and isolating- not only from others, but that disconnection you can feel from yourself.

Where did my journey change?

In 2015, I found my way to Nicaragua to a Yoga Teacher Training. I started immersing myself in the benefits of daily movement and plant-based nutrition. Suddenly, I didn't feel such a deep-urging to view my life through the lens of what I was "lacking".

I started questioning, WHY this practice of daily movement and meditation felt so life-changing.

In my search for "more", I went into in-depth studying of the impact that nutrients and minerals that we consume (or neglect to consume) have on our mental & emotional well-being. I graduated as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist (RHN) in 2017, with absolute conviction that I could become the master of my own mind and emotions, through cultivating a diet filled with anti inflammatory foods, healthy oils, and many, many greens.

I am a strong advocate of using nutritional counselling, meditation, yoga, and hands-on-healing to initiate mental-emotional balance in the body and mind.

Check out my contact page, I'd love to hear from you.

xo Allison.
